Basically, this amp is one of the best amps I've ever played on, let alone owned. If you've ever had the pleasure of playing one, you'll know what I'm talking about. Its also the most versatile bass amp I've ever come across, it has two sweepable mid controls, and a graphic EQ, as well as two channels (one fet, one tube), both of which you can blend together, so you can get that nice dirty, overdriven top end, but still have a solid low end.

But alas, I've come to realise I'm definitely an Ampeg man, so I'm putting this up for trade.

Anyway, here are the specs;

Power RMS 400 Watts RMS
Inputs 1x Jack (with 10db Pad switch)
Channels Fet & Tube
Equalisation Bass & Treble shelving controls, Hi & Lo Para Mid, and 6 Band Graphic EQ
Master Presence Control Yes - Active Power Stage Feedback Control
Preamp Valves 3x ECC83, 1x 12BH7
Output Valves 8x KT88

Weight 34.g Kg
Dimensions 524 x 218 x 400

This amp is also in mint condition, and if anyone wants pictures, just let me know.

EDIT: I've decided to put this up for sale now, I'm looking for around £750. Offers are welcome!

EDIT: I've found a replacement amp, I'm looking for a quick sale. £600, and she's yours.

If anyone's interested at all, make me an offer, I have no idea how much these go for second hand so I may have overshot the asking price.

Also, if anyone's in the Cambridgeshire area and wants to try it out, just drop me a message :)

Hi there, although I'm not in the market for a big tube head this seems very fairly priced... i think £750 is a great deal for 400W of tube head... are you sure you want to part with this????

good luck

Andy

Its definitely a great amp, but I just prefer the voicing of Ampegs. The Laney is a cross between one and a 400+ though, so I'm sure loads of people would dig it.

I've found a replacement amp, so I'm looking for a quick sale. £600, and she's yours.
