Jimothey Posted November 3, 2018 Posted November 3, 2018 Not in the same league as most of the other basses on here but I like it........ My 'orca' bitsa tele bass 😀 Quote
Funky Ghost Posted November 27, 2018 Posted November 27, 2018 (edited) Ok, this is NOT mine... but it is nearly the combo I want on a custom bass ( I was ebony as well ). Holly is tied with my favorite top on a bass. I personally own a Oly white P bass with tort ( of course! ) Edited November 27, 2018 by Funky Ghost 1 Quote

I really liked Sandbergs before we met. In fact a TM4 was my goto bass, but have abandoned them since getting to know you. In terms of 'brand Cuzzie' love of Bergs is the thing (to me anyway) you are most famous for. I note you lurking with intent quite a lot on the Yammy thread these days. Wise move, I might add. I've not bothered with the half-cocked approach of drop D tuning, you're a fan of, but gone straight to 5 strings. I note you have finally come around to getting a 5er. I view 12 string basses and dUg Pinnic, in particular, as a touch bloated in reputation. So no, not always, my friend... 😂 Quote
Cuzzie Posted April 5, 2019 Posted April 5, 2019 Yep, I like chatting with @AndyTravis and @bigsmokebass, they crack me up, so far as yammies go, always liked an Attitude Ltd Billy Sheehan, and prob looked at them before you got your Yammy. Drop D tuning rules, took you a while to understand the difference between that and D tuning the whole bass, but I think you are there now. Had a 5, sold it, wondered about all that chaff about transitioning between a 4 and a 5, not really an issue, was good fun, prefer 4’s but who knows may get a 5 if the need requires. Not my fault that 12 strings are too much for you to cope with physically and conceptually, but after me getting a 12, you did get an 8 and can see the benefit of a multi string octave bass. So far as dUg goes, that’s cool, you don’t have to like him or his music, but considering you can’t even spell his name correctly I doubt you know a whole heap about him or the genre, so yeah assume the reputation is bloated, same with his products if you want that bass magazines vote as top products in all their reviews last year I did suggest both the NNE2 and a bass Vi to you as possibly suiting you a while back - seems like I may have been correct............ Hope you have fun with it, they are great for tic tac playing, but I am sure you know that anyway. Quote

I've finally seen the light. Not a gift to bass players, to women maybe. Go to the light, it’s calling you, don’t fight it. Quote
