Lozz196
Hi Rob Never had any problems with my MB450H when I had it, and used this facility quite a bit, so this must be a unit problem rather than generic to the amp model. In this situation, I`d give Marshall a call, they`ve always been spot on with cusomer service in my experience. 01908 375411.
GT40Graham
Have you checked the position of the pre/post switch which is next to the balanced line out socket? Regards,
bassmachine2112
use a sansamp, behringer clone or hartke bass attack or similar pre-amp di box,DI to PA and output to amp
Musky
Might be teaching your grandmother to suck eggs here, but are you plugged into the Line input on your mixer rather than a Mic input?

If the button has been pushed in (perhaps in transit?) then everything comes out of the XLR regardless of where the Master Volume is set. As it's silly o'clock in the morning, I may have that totally back to front, so try it the other way round as well... 2) I've found duff XLR cables also create havoc so perhaps try swapping that out as well? Lozz196
Indeed, Marshall gear has a reputation for being long-lasting, though some posts on here don`t seem to rate the MB range. citing unreliability issues. That said though, I`ve had 3 of the MB range, no problems with any of them.
