HarryPotter Posted January 7, 2008 Posted January 7, 2008 (edited) A Tanglewood Rebel XT. It's in wine red, is not in particularly good condition but does have fairly new strings on it. It was my first bass, got it as a fixer upper (a pot had disintigrated as had the strings). It's missing a nob (ooh-err) has a fair few war wounds but plays fine. I'd deffo class it as a beater bass, or a project if you are bored. Only reason I don't use it anymore is that it's 35" scale and I find it uncomfy. Currently it has little stickers on it for every note on the fretboard upto the 12th fret (well we all have to learn somehow lol). These can be removed if you wish I know pictures are needed but I can osrt that later, just want to know a ball park figure. TIA Edited January 7, 2008 by HarryPotter Quote
Hanson Posted January 7, 2008 Posted January 7, 2008 I might be interested Ive already got two tanglewoods and know theyre good basses But it really is hard to estimate without pictures to show damage etc Quote
HarryPotter Posted January 7, 2008 Author Posted January 7, 2008 It's not so much damage more hard use and careless handling (I would not even consider calling it mojo). Quote
Hit&Run Posted January 7, 2008 Posted January 7, 2008 I've never seen a tanglewood rebel with a 35" scale before. I'll look forward to some piccies! Quote
HarryPotter Posted January 7, 2008 Author Posted January 7, 2008 Basically it's one of these: http://www.tanglewoodguitars.co.uk/product...mp;sID=26465238 But has had the sh!t knocked out of it. In fairness it isn't that bad, just got dings and scratches all over it. I'll try and sort some pics out soon. Quote
