doctorg57 Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 (edited) Hi everyone - I'm having a clear out and this weekend I'm going to retreive my red Westone "The Rail" from a friend who borrowed it from me to learn to play bass about 10 years ago - quickly gave up - and has been storing it for me since. I bought it new from a music shop when I was on holiday in Italy in what must have been the mid 80's? 1985? I will post some pictures once I've got it back. I think this is a bit or a rarity and know that in the eyes of many, a pinnacle of Jap Crap, but I'm sure someone somewhere may be interested in it. I have no idea what it is worth and I've not seen it for the past 10 years. It was in reasonable nick when I lent it and was cocooned in its silver and black gig bag (as I remember it?). I'm open to offers and will post pictures once I've got my grubby hands back on it. Who knows I might love it so much I can't bear to be parted from it ever again. DG

steverickwood Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 These are surprisingly good - the sliding picku makes huge differences...I may be selling mine soon for the same reasons though. Good luck with the sale - anyone looking these are totally giggable, and they travel well and are handy if you teach.
