I think the studio may seem heavier as it so compact. You look at it and expect it to be lighter than it is.
That's probably what I meant. If the Line 6 were the same size as the Hartke I think it would be heavier. It's quite weighty for such a small unit
Sorry, but I think that's wishful thinking:
according to the distributor's site, the Kickback 12 is 42lb http://www.samsontech.com/products/product...0&brandID=3
whereas the Studio 110 is 24lb http://line6.com/lowdownstudio110/

Of course, if you're reasonably strong, 42lbs is still pretty light. If you're a nine stone weakling like me, however, the Markbass CMD 121P is hard to beat as a truly giggable lightweight combo; at 29.5 lbs it's not a lot heavier than the Studio 110, and although it's a fair bit more costly than the Hartke, there have been a couple going on this site recently for stupidly low prices.
I used to have no problem carrying my kickback one handed into gigs. Certainly a lot lighter than the Trace Elliot 2x10 combo that replaced it and as light as a feather when compared to the Peavey 410tvx I usually have to wrestle into the boot of my car :)
I wish I could run to a Markbass but it's way out of my league I'm afraid
I wish I could carry a 42lb combo one-handed without straining anything - (I'd replace the MarkBass with a Hartke and save some cash) - but that's way out of my league, I'm afraid. :)
