munkonthehill Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 (edited) Hola all, I posted this in the technical section but thought i would try here too. I am using a Fender Jag that has 2 pots which are the master volume and the tone pot. I seen this item on ebay and was thinking of removing the tone pot which I rarely use as its not overly effective and replacing it with one of these. geoffbyrne Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 Yes, I have one of these currently in the drawer, but I had it on a Telecaster & it worked just great - main prob. is fitting the battery into the control route. Pretty transparent, simply ups the gain as you turn it. Pull to bypass. It's as simple as that. My Strat has a Varitone, which I soldered up myself from a Torres kit http://torresamps.com/ and http://torresamps.com/guitar_modification_kits.htm on the mid-knob position, and the Artec QTA http://www.artecsound.com/pickups/index.html on the bottom knob. Good stuff, Artec - they make the pickups for Guitar Fetish. G. Quote
