[quote name='Bassassin' post='1016209' date='Nov 8 2010, 11:57 AM']He's got a similarly optimistic/mentally challenged/archly comic (delete to fit personal theory) mate in Bath:

And you even get STICKERS with this one! :)

Good to see you're getting another quote in this one Jon. You really ought to be on commission. :)

[quote name='waynepunkdude' post='1015148' date='Nov 7 2010, 12:19 PM']HAHA I think he wrote the review on HC

I wondered about that, but now I don't think so. I found the Google cached version in the old format and it was written 21 Nov 2005, which doesn't give a lot of time for the eBay seller to buy it in a shop the same year. In the review, he got it from a geetard who kept it in his closet, on ebay it's an ex-rental bass and the seller kept it in his closet. So it's more of a closet bass than a ghost, which all adds to the value. Looks like the EMG Select is a coincidence, or the ebay listing is even more fictional than we thought. And why post a broken link to a not-that-good review you wrote yourself?

The only other reference to Vogue guitars I can find is this thread about a couple of Les Paul copies, which suggests there might be real wood involved in the body. And of course, made by Matsumoko, who else ...

It's a mangled, misquoted interpretation of something I once posted somewhere. That's the problem with sh!t like this on Ebay - these retards just misquote hard-researched bits of discussions and chop them around to fit whatever piece of broken car-boot junk they're trying to offload.

Annoyingly I can't even message him to tear him off a strip because he's taken what I said and bastardized it in his own semi-literate fashion. :)
