Received an unused, boxed AMT Electronics Bass Equalizer (EQ-7B) from a mate :)

Does anyone have any experience with them?
Are they any good?

won't have a chance to play with it til tonight so i thought i'd let you good people get your tuppence worth in before i spend any time twiddling with it.
