cetera
I've been browsing the web/ebay etc and was wondering.... is there really any difference between a replacement Fender body (painted & finished) that was made in Mexico as opposed to made in the US or Japan? Just getting some project ideas together....
King Tut
I think the mexican ones have some extra routing holes under the scratchplate. You couldn't us a mex jazz body for a 'jaco' alike with no scratchplate.
WarPig
Also the mexican ones use more pieces of wood for the body, which can look ugly bare or with a clear finish. Edited January 7, 2008 by WarPig
