OK, so I'm using the fretless for a couple of numbers, and I'm looking for a chorus pedal to make it 'sing' a little more in the appropriate places.

What's the general consensus in the 'reasonably cheap' end of the market?

All opinions, no matter how raving, gratefully accepted... :)

I liked the Small Stone, very good pedal and can be had for around £30 used.
My favourite chorus is the Stereo Electric Mistress, sounds beautiful with a fretless. I sold mine and regretted it straight away so i had to buy another! Expect to pay about £55 - £60 used though

That Neo Clone Sk8 has for sale looks good too

I have had a CEB-3 for years and it's just fine, so can recommend that. As you only really need effects on your top end (harmonics) the CEB-3 you can adjust how much of your lower end you expose to it. Works for me. Use it more than my flanger

For gigging I´m using a TC electronic SCF pedal, which I truly like. I have some more chorus pedals but they are sitting in the corner waiting for better days. Mostly I don´t like them because they cut off or muddy the lowend.
