DirkThrust
About 10 years ago I played a gig at The Wedgewood Rooms in Portsmouth with 2 other bands, and the supplied backline was one of these with a matching fridge. It was a Matchless valve head anyway so I assume it was a Thunderchief. Cor blimey I thought it was going to knock me off me feet. What a great sounding rig Edited November 9, 2010 by AndyMartin
Happy Jack
Gorgeous, BUT ... at 28Kg that head weighs more than my bass, head, cabinet and pedal board combined. Hell, I could probably chuck in my foldback monitor as well. One for the bass-playing Czech weight-lifter, I think.
Low End Bee
Look great on the back seat of a Nash Metropolitan.
Noisyjon
That looks cool but as Jack said 28kg? No thanks!

Musicman20
Weight/smeight its a heavy beast I agree, and it will need flightcasing, but get the drummer to lift it. What an amp!
Delberthot
An Ampeg SVT2 Pro is over 31kg so its not that heavy.

99ster
Sold for £1K - which is a lot of money - but compared to others amps of that price... The buyer will be a very happy camper for snagging that for what is a bargain price.
