Lozz196 Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 (edited) Marshall DBS 7400 Amplifier Head. ITEM NOW SOLD. 400 Class D watts into 2 ohms (approx 280 watts at 4 ohms) Passive/Active inputs Valve/Solid State blendable pre-amp 9 band graphic equaliser Compressor Effects loop Tuner out Pre or post DI selection switch 2 Neutrik Speakon connectors Link to full spec: http://www.marshallamps.com/heritage/dbs/dbs_03.asp This amp has amzing depth of low end, missing none of the clarity required to punch through the mix. Using it with my 4ohm cab, therefore only using the 280 watts, I`ve never needed the volume on more than 3, with the gain on 5, in a punk band with 2 guitarists. The amp was fully serviced by Marshall in July of this year and is in good condition. For those Muse fans, Chris Wolstenhume uses 4 of these in a rack. £325 ono. Payment by Paypal, as a gift please. Due to the weight of the item collection preferred (from Hertfordshire). I`m happy to look into couriers, at buyers expense. Any queries, PM me to discuss. Edited March 14, 2011 by Lozz196
Christophano Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 Well that is mighty odd.... I was going to put my DBS7400 up for sale too! These are rare as hens teeth....then two go up for sale! These heads sound totally stonkin', brilliant bit of kit. Good luck with your sale mate.
Lozz196 Posted November 10, 2010 Author Posted November 10, 2010 Yeah, great amps, I`ve just hurt my back again tho, and needed a much lighter amp - hence the Terror. Good luck with yr sale too. You never know, maybe a Muse/Chris Wolstenhume tribute may buy both, after all, to be exact they`ll need four!
Stuee Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 You've been holding that deposit a long time, Lozz. Are they ever gonna pick it up?
Lozz196 Posted January 26, 2011 Author Posted January 26, 2011 I do hope so. The buyer has been in regular touch with me, keeping me appraised of his situation, so I`m hopeful all will be ok.
Lozz196 Posted March 3, 2011 Author Posted March 3, 2011 Not looking good, waiting on a response to a message sent to the buyer, this may well be up for grabs again.
Lozz196 Posted March 13, 2011 Author Posted March 13, 2011 No it didn`t. I accepted a holding deposit, but my buyer hasn`t been in touch for over 2 months, so I`m fairly sure that he doesn`t want it anymore.
