Is it just me being dumb, but where has the old 'Harmony Central' reviews gone?

yeh, the reviews on the old site were invaluable, sometimes when sites are updated the old site can still be accessed? hope so!!!

I've just gone in and searched on the site - only new reviews (November 2010) are up - 2 reviews for Fender in Bass Amps, 1 for Traynor (a cab), 2 for Yorkville (both cabs). Looks like they may have ditched the old reviews.

I was reading an old review just a day or two ago. I've just checked again and the old reviews are still there - just use the search function. They seem to have done away with the date the reviews were added though.

Edit: A bit more browsing around the site does throw up weird anomalies though - if you browse Bass>Amps you do just find two Fender reviews. Type in 'Fender' in the 'filter by brand' box, and it brings up many more. From the user reviews page: [i]Please note some reviews are still being restructured. As a result, if you don’t find what you are looking through at a specific level (i.e. Guitar Effects) you should consider clicking the “Show All” tab (some reviews haven’t been assigned to their appropriate buckets yet).[/i]

And some brands definitely should be assigned to a bucket.

Since they revamped a short while ago, it has gone down the sh*tt*r. Not easy to find specific reviews.
The HC forum has quite a few threads from users saying pretty much the same.

Harmony Central, once the easiest of sites to use, logical, and friendly, made 'improvements' to its site. The result? An impossible-to-read mess. This is called 'progress.'

All of the old reviews have been archived as 'legacy reviews'. Everything is still there. Quickest way to get to them is google the item of interest + harmony central. Nearly always drops you straight in to the legacy section. Then just reverse up the category hierarchy.

Frankly, HC perpetrated a total disaster which eviscerated one of the more useful sites on the web. It all happened some months ago and provoked a shitstorm of biblical proportions. Some of the angriest posts I've ever seen and well worth reading
