voxpop Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 Hi Andy, Looks like we are all selling our Burners... I've just compared my new USA BT6 with the Burner and there is not allot between them. They sound so alike its rather scary when you consider the price difference is over £3000. It really does make the Burner series a very good buy. Good luck with the sale ............ these are really great basses.

Playability is as good as my Celinder P (and that was the best long-scale four I'd played until I held the Smith). Tone is absolutely amazing - typical Smith all the way. Massive bonus - the Smith is extremely light and very compact!

I love the jazz setup when its fretless, it probably tops the precision tone.
