Merton
Bought this brand new from Andertons a couple of months back as my backup amp, replacing my old Trace head. I love it to bits, it sounds gorgeous at the 4 rehearsals i've used it at since then. However, our g**tarist has recently got a new Mesa Boogie combo and this simply can't keep up. I've avoided pushing it too hard as I realised fairly quickly it wouldn't cope with the volume. I persevered but alas it is not to be :-( Therefore I have decided it's gotta go, there's no point having a back up amp that doesn't do the job. Crappy phone pics attached: [attachment=4706:bassamp.JPG] [attachment=4707:bassamp2.jpg] Price-wise, Andertons have one at £249 in their sale so I'm going with the same price to start with since it's as new condition, never gigged (4 rehearsals is bugger all really!) and you get an aluminium case and speaker lead thrown in for good measure. Shipping is extra (prob around £20) or we can arrange something more convenient. Ta! Mert Edited January 17, 2008 by Merton

mikehumph
Was the auction pulled by ebay because you dared mention that you advertised it elsewhere? Did you loose your listing fee because of it? Mike. Merton
Indeed it was. No idea if they'll make me pay but I've told them I'm not going to! I've seen countless other auctions with almost identical wording to mine so I was surprised mine got taken down. Ho hum. How's tricks?
john_the_bass
they've done that to me. they give you a load of cobblers about how it contravenes their listing policy, but there's actually nothing in their listing policy to that effect. I wrote to them and told them and they just fob you off until you put together a strong argument and then they ignore you. I was then sent a "how did we handle your communication" survey, which i filled in and ticked the last box that said, do you need to be contacted - of course nobody actually got back to me. I think i was just up for a bit of a row. They do credit your listing fee though. Sorry, back on topic. Good luck with the next auction Edited January 15, 2008 by john_the_bass

Ah well, we live and learn...
Merton
Less than two hours to go. The reserve is probably too high so if it gets to £200 i'll let it go and someone is going to get a bloody bargain!
