Stuart Clayton Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 (edited) Hi all, Currently selling an Ashdown Superfly amp. I bought this off of another Basschatter about a year ago, and have just been using it for home practice. It's a great little amp, but I'm moving to something different now for my main rig and won't be needing this any more. Looking for £150 shipped to a UK address. PM if interested or email me at Cheers Stu Edited November 10, 2010 by Stuart Clayton

bobpalt Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 Its what theyre all like if you take the horrible thick aluminium overheating case off!

Prime_BASS Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010
8 ohm cabs I believe. Stuart
It gets misquoted alot as 500w but it's actually 2x250w @ 4ohm So to get full power you need to have connected 2 4ohm cabs.
tauzero Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 If you use 8 ohm cabs, it's about 175W per channel. The aluminium gubbins doubles the weight and reduces the cooling. Removing it (and sticking some rubber feet on) is a not uncommon mod.
