A lot of the early, experienced, interesting posters have stopped contributing. Probably for the same reasons.

Dunno about Zoe (did she finish sixth form this year and start a new, exciting university life?), but I see Sarah a fair bit on Twitter. I'll see if I can entice her back, but she's got a lot going on at the moment... and I think she's playing more guitar than bass these days.

Without going over old ground, is it just a teensy-weensy bit possible that their disappearance coincided with a sudden increase in avatars featuring semi-naked women?

It might be in "The Local" but it's always been pretty much like that really, from what I remember. If you go to some of the other more specialist threads everything seems cool.

I think this bit it for certain types of personalities. Often for those who don't mind a cage fight and others who like to referee or break up the fight hang about here.

I have been wondering where Sarah and Zoe are though.

It'd be nice to have a wider mix certainly I'm sure there are more on here than people realise. We do tend to assume people are male and also we have some people who post a lot & others who come to just soak up the chat from a distance

Plenty of women manage to spend a lot of time on Facebook though, but then you don't have to be a geek for that, just have no life.
