gafbass02
Im useless at navigating ishibashi!, does anyone know the link to the bass page where i can browse new basses by brand, such as fender , bacchus etc? im regretting selling my vwh jb75100us even though my KSD is an amazing bass so i thought id peruse, maybe look at bacchi too! Failing that id still like a six string status as i miss mine! Edited January 8, 2008 by gafbass02
Jase
Is this any help? http://ishibashi.co.jp/webshop/guitar/fender-j/bs-index.htm I managed to order a bass Tuesday using this page, think I ended up clicking on Ishibashi web shop email link, it's a little confusing but when you get to speak to someone they're really helpful. ped
I find the best tool is the 'U-Box' which is second hand gear from music stores across Japan. Click here for more info - http://www.ishibashi-music.com/ The direct URL for the bass section is http://www.ishibashi.co.jp/u_box/ubox.cgi?...wn&print=40 - I keep my eye on it and have picked up some bargains. You can email them directly via the address on the first link and they always get in touch quickly and are very helpful as Jase said. I have never dealt with a more professional and slick online store.

BigRedX
The only problem with contacting Ishibashi by email is the time difference. If you email them in the morning when you've seen something nice, it'll be past the end of the working day for them and you won't get a reply until the next day in Japan so normally it takes at least 24 hours to get a reply... It gets worse over the weekend. The one time I've tried to buy something from them it took so long to get a reply, that the bass had been sold... :-(
Jase
It does seem to take a little time to get things sorted, I paid for mine late Sunday evening, ( mistake in my last post, I said Tuesday) I had the reply Monday saying that the tracking number will be sent, so I should get an email Wednesday maybe Thursday??? but no complaints what so ever, they've been very helpful but as BigRedX says it's the time difference that's a bit freaky
