hi mate. it looks pretty much like chrome...not quite as bright shine though and less noticable if it becomes tarnised

It may be hard to see through the packaging but they are very different. Nickle has a yellowy-pink tinge to it.
In most cases chrome is plated onto nickle plating, if you've ever rubbed through a chrome finish by accident what you see is nickle underneath. Nickle tarnishes to black btw.
