Jono Bolton Posted January 9, 2008 Posted January 9, 2008 I found this on ebay. Ashdown amp It's an Ashdown Bass Magnifier according to the auction (and the front of the amp), but it has a control panel akin to that of a ABM. Oh, hold on a second. Everything's just come together. Does ABM = Ashdown Bass Magnifier? It's not one of the Mag heads that's fo' sho'. Quote

Marky L Posted January 9, 2008 Posted January 9, 2008 Indeedy do. One of the original range of ABMs I would say. 400W and 200W heads and combos. The first 200 units were called Klystron Bass Magnifier, but the name was changed after legal issues I believe. My old 200w combo is one of these. Must be a vintage classic collectable now... Well maybe one day! M. Quote
Jono Bolton Posted January 10, 2008 Author Posted January 10, 2008 Someone got a bargain there; £146! Granted its a bit scruffy, but that's a steal Quote
