prismrock2003
if its a cheap jazz your after you could try one of these(i'll prob get band for suggesting this ): http://www.thomann.de/gb/harley_benton_hbb1975_bk.htm i had one (first jazz bass i had infact) and it was quite nice. i changed the pickups to duncan designed ones like the squiers have (because they were £30) needed a set up though but sure the majority of cheap basses do. still for £110 including delivery you cant go wrong. i regret selling mine now and have been thinking about buying another one. they also do a maple one like the vintage modified squier but that seems to be out of stock atm. Michael
ah well last time i ordered a bass, it came from overseas, and my bank had a hidden charge for buying an item which is overseas, this caused me to go overdrawn, then i ended up paying more than what the bass cost in bank charges alone! so I am wary of importing basses, which is a shame because it looks really good for the money

How did you pay?
I used my Santander account through paypal, needless to say, after all the hassle i got thats the last time i used my santander account to buy anything! i bought my first bass from ebay, and it came on a realllly long journey overseas...from Ireland -.- and they charged me a overseas shipping fee! that lead me to going overdrawn, and then i was charged unnaranged overdraft fees! Anyway i used my far more reliable bank for the purchase i have just made! I have just bought a new bass after looking for a few weeks, it is Solid Alder body with natural finish and a Maple neck with 20 rosewood frets, the link below is for some more on Ebay which range from about £125 to £140ish, and i got mine brand new for £89.99 with free shipping! now comes the wait and to see if it is any good I will post pictures and a short review (mainly because i'm lazy) after i have recieved and tested the beast out , thanks for everbodies input into this thread! Edit - The Make/Model of the bass is a Chord CJB62, never heard of them but for 90 quid it has to be utterly crap to be a waste of money http://shop.ebay.co.uk/?_from=R40&_trk...nkw=chord+cjb62 - Simmo Edited November 19, 2010 by Simmo
