PJ Phillips Posted January 9, 2008 Posted January 9, 2008 I have a Mac G4 Powerbook and the screen 'light' has gone off!??? I can see (barely) the page underneath and can still see it's all working but need to replace the light (I hope that's all its). Any ideas? I bought it second hand so there is no warranty on it. Any help would be appreciated Thanks in advance pj Quote
tonybassplayer Posted January 9, 2008 Posted January 9, 2008 I too have a powerbook and always turn to the official Apple forum if I have a problem and it is usually answered within minutes as their are so many worldwide viewers. Sorry I can't be more helpful Regards Tony Quote
Musky Posted January 9, 2008 Posted January 9, 2008 I assume you've delved into the display setting in Preferences and checked the level for brightness? Quote
mr.sibs Posted January 9, 2008 Posted January 9, 2008 you may have hit the brightness shortcut key (theyre f1 and f2 on my imac) Quote
