Raslee
Great read. Our sax player wants to do "Eat that question' - a bit far out for some one who's not used to playing more than 3 notes per tune. jakenewmanbass
Arthur's a dude. Having worked with Ike and Bobby Martin I felt I could make contact with Arthur to thank him for all the great things he gave me to listen to whilst growing up, he was very gracious and replied with some kind words and told me how lucky he felt to have been part of it all. The stuff he has written there sounds like it was a lot of fun.
xilddx
Superb, can't wait to read it! It's weird though, I never really got into his bass playing but I loved his name My favourite thing he did was the cod reggae line in Panty Rap from Tinseltown. I hope I can get a new appreciation of him.
Stingray5
Brilliant. A great read and some nice insights into the world of FZ. I particularly liked the last two quotes at the bottom of the page. As it 'appens, Rick Wakeman played "Peaches En Regalia" on his Planet Rock show last Saturday which was the track that first introduced me to Zappa way back when.
