Happy Jack
It's a long way from Chiswick to Colchester ... especially with a broken leg! I'm getting steadily more interested in trying a Streamline. Is there anyone within, say, 30 miles of London W4 who has one and would be prepared to let me noodle about with it for an hour or so? Lfalex v1.1
You'd be welcome to try mine, mate. You could have done at the last 'Bash in Surrey- We were both there and I had it with me. I tried plenty of your basses! Unfortunately, I live more than 30 miles away, and by the time you'd got to me, you might as well have driven to Colchester! There's Bass Merchant in Colchester, too. Well worth a visit! Are you going to the Bash on the 27th Nov? If I go, I'll be taking it and a couple of others... Assuming my buggered Achilles tendon will let me.. All the best with the leg! Alex. Edit- Chiswick? Have an ESB from the Griffin (Fuller's) brewery for me!!! Edited November 18, 2010 by Lfalex v1.
Happy Jack
Nice one Alex ... but I'll see your buggered Achilles and raise you a broken leg! It may still be possible for me to attend the Bass Bash, but I won't know until next week. Certainly I wouldn't be able to with this great lump of plaster on my leg. If we can both make it, then I will definitely be asking you for an extended play. Fair exchange & all that - take a look at the basses in my sig and let me know if there's something in particular you'd like me to bring along for you to try. Edit - I'm a London Pride man, meself. Edited November 18, 2010 by Happy Jack
martthebass
You're not alone HJ, I'd love to try a Streamline 5 and maybe a Streamline or Stealth Fretless. If I liked these as much as my standard Streamline 4 I'd be tempted to sell up my 'wood' collection and go all carbon...

Me4Bass
Mostly playing upright lately, but grab my Status Kingbass when ever I can. To fill in the gap, I'm thinking of a Stealth II Fretless. From what I've heard, the Streamline sound is nice as a fretless. Would a Stealth II fretless be similar to Streamline? Please share thoughts and opinions.
