Golchen
Nah, I don't really want to be Mark King, but I'd love to get the basic elements of his style down. I can get the old thumb moving a bit, but fail somewhat with the finger snaps, and also my left hand doesn't know what to do at all! I was just wondering if there was anyone within about 20 miles or so from Luton who could give some lessons/pointers. Alternatively I work in London NW9. I've had a look at DVD stuff and tabs, but I don't get on with that stuff, I'm really a 'look and learn' sort of person. I realise this is probably a long shot, but no harm in asking! mikenichols
Check my site www.mikenichols.co.uk There's lots of info - and you can hear some examples of me demonstrating slap technique on the classic bass sounds and tunes pages I'm based in Guildford, so maybe a bit out of your way, but well worth the trip! - imo
