Elrick Bass Strings

Has anyone out there used Elrick strings? I am considering getting some in from the US to sell here in the UK but just wanted to get some feedback if anyone has any idea?

I found them to be a bit pants. Just lacking tone. I use DR's. About three years back, I spent nearly a year trying out most other strings. Went back to DR's.
Just my opinion.

Any other strings you would like that are not easy to get hold of in the uk?
