Monz Posted November 20, 2010 Share Posted November 20, 2010 I have just got what I think is the perfect amp/cab combination I have had quite a few in my short playing career including some of the lightest and some of the heaviest and expensive tackle... suffice to say the Trace gear I have just got from Matt (Overwater#1) is the sweetest sounding and easiest to control gear I have ever played through. I have always wondered why players rave about Trace gear so much and now I know. Just wanted to share P.S. Matt is a gent and a great guy to deal with[/quote] I love trace amps and cabs,bought my first one when I got my first monthly pay pack in 93,jeeps was it that long ago,a series 6 ah130.I still got it.Done me proud over the years.Just got it back from my 20 year old nephew who's "borrowed" it 3 years ago.Never ever let me down.Now play a ah500 12 1048h and fairly rare 4x8 trace,sounds great.Add yours to the trace porn thread Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
ziggydolphinboy Posted November 26, 2010 Share Posted November 26, 2010 Hey Monz, glad you got the 400 head i have had mine for about 15 yrs, i nearly bought matts one as a back up but i got a 350 head for a little less instead, its the graphic and the dual compressor that makes these amps, everytime ive lent my 400 head out people rave about it, i have a 4x10 ,1x15,2x10 and horn box and now i have two ahsmx heads!!!! Untill i cant lift these things any more im gonna keep using my old trace gear, its sweeet !! glad another rare ah400smx went to a good home. zig (ill be putting my trace gear up in porn thread soon!!)
