steve-soar Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 (edited) Pity about that imperfection on the upper horn. Is it a pocket of resin? Edited September 28, 2007 by steve-soar Quote
RIM Basses Posted September 28, 2007 Author Posted September 28, 2007 Hi All, The bass has no imperfections steve bud, just abit of burning from the routing and the top horn isnt fully finnish rout wise, due to me needing to get a 1/4 bit around the inside of the horn with my amazing Bosch GKF 600 palm router next week. Guys thanks for all the knid words on the bass, it means alot to me with this year being so busy work and house wise. Cheers, Robbie. Quote

skelf Posted October 10, 2007 Posted October 10, 2007 Liking this one a lot Robbie. The switches from Sheldon work really well I have used them a on a couple of basses a really elegant way to get a good variety of sounds with minimal twiddling. Don't you just love carving Wenge Alan Quote
alexclaber Posted October 10, 2007 Posted October 10, 2007 Robbie, you are rapidly becoming a legend in my world! I never thought I'd say this but I'm starting to get bored of my old Warwick... Alex Quote
RIM Basses Posted October 10, 2007 Author Posted October 10, 2007 Thanks again for the comments guys, glad to hear the switch works well Alan. Your right about wenge mate, its a tuff one! Im sure Alex will love the bass. Cheers Robbie. Quote
Sugden Posted October 10, 2007 Posted October 10, 2007 Your bridges are just something else love the design. Does it have any other advantages over just looking damn good? Quote
steve-soar Posted October 20, 2007 Posted October 20, 2007 Alex and Robbie, this is one of the most tasteful and and at the same time different looking basses I've ever seen come together. The Q Tuners look perfect with the choice of woods. Superb. Quote
RIM Basses Posted October 25, 2007 Author Posted October 25, 2007 (edited) Hi All, Cheers for the comments Steve mate!
