I have two recently acquired Yamaha BBG5 to go on here (currently at the luthier's) - one passive (3 knobs), the other active (4 knobs).

Time to post again in this thread. I recently bought this Squire P Bass on Basschat. It's ready for action at our next gig. Great to get my hands on a nice P bass again, which will be a fun alternative to my regular StingRay.

It’s a Gretsch 6128B ThunderJet. Sadly they are no longer in production , they were part of their Pro Series made in Japan. I had been looking for a while before finding this. Beautifully made.

Yamaha call this Galaxy Black. Close up its actually very very dark slightly metallic grey. In this rubbish photo, it's simply black

 

 

Edit, maybe not metallic, but something granular at any rate
