"word worth nothing" is a bit harsh. Apologies were provided and I understand the disappointment but I had given first refusal to someone else. It just so happened that he changed his mind after initially not having the money and given the hassle of international postage plus the fact that I work with him every day, it was safer for the bass to go to him.

I am sorry that this happened and hope you find another bass.
