Ken Smith Basses

Not sure if anyone has made this commom knowledge already but for those who may not know and are interested, it seems Bass Direct
are selling Smith Basses.

Amazing isn't it. I've just imported one two weeks ago because no one in Europe had them and now Mark has them 90 min. drive from my bloody house.

Congratulations to Mark on getting these instruments in. Maybe the recession has made Ken a little keener to do business outside Japan and the US.

A couple of years ago Alex said Ken refused to take an order from the Bass Gallery because they didn't sell enough of his instruments! Thats why the Gallery have never bothered offering them since.

That sounds like a bad move, after all the Gallery are surely the longest established and biggest name in boutique bass sales in the UK - I've never known them to have bother shifting any high end kit!
