Hi,

Looking to sell my Bacchus Comando 5 jazz bass. It's an active five string jazz bass. Very well built, has a nice look (CAR) and offers an incredible powerful sound.

I've received this bass only a few days ago, but I just can't get the hang of the smaller Fender-style (18mm) stringspacing as I'm used to my Sadowsky and Bottomwave. What a shame.

Body: USA Alder
Neck: Canadian Maple, 21 frets
Fingerboard: Indian Rosewood
Finish: Candy Apple Red
Pickguard: Pearloid
Pickups: Fralin JJ5
Preamp: Bacchus 2-band
Including Bacchus gigbag

I'm looking for 600 GBP. I'm also open to trade proposals, like a nice four string jazz or precision (Fender, Lakland JoBo or Duck Dunn, etc).
By the way, I'm based in the Netherlands (Rotterdam area).

Here's a picture from the internet

And a YouTube video:

Lovely looking bass. What string spacing are you used to on the Sadowsky 5? Also, what is the back of the neck like on this bass? Satin or gloss?

Thanks

Hi Mike,

I'm used to (at least) 19 mm. My sadowsky even has 19,5 mm.
The Bacchus neck has a smooth satin finish.

Cheers,

Yes, it is. The video shows the smooth sound. But there are many more possibilities, thanks to the two volume pots.
Incredible bass for this money :)
