Ampeg SVT 7 Pro

Hi,

I had a quick go on an Ampeg SVT 7 pro the other day and was quite taken with it.
Just wondered if anyone here is using one and what their experiences are for gigs,etc
It seems well priced for up to 1000 watts at 4ohms.

I also looked into these. Nice amps, lots of features.

The biggest worry I would have is the amount of people on talkbass sending them back due to failures....not good

Ampeg dont make them like they used to.

Yep I saw that too, although looking at the dates of posts, I kind of assumed that it was the early units that they were referring to. (Jan/Feb).
Surely, if Ampeg had a known problem then they would do something about it by now??....at least I'd hope so.

I hope so! Im sure the warranty will cover it if you get one.
