Mykesbass Posted November 22, 2010 Posted November 22, 2010 Fiddler's Dram? I'll get me coat.... Quote
BassBus Posted November 22, 2010 Posted November 22, 2010 Take the packed bass to the Post Office. They will weigh it and give you prices for delivery. Simples! Quote
Lozz196 Posted November 22, 2010 Posted November 22, 2010 Try Interparcel, they offer good competetive prices, and you end up using DHL/UPS via their service, just at a far better price. There`s a thread on here somewhere about couriers, and Interparcel get favourable comments. I checked out the price for sending an amp weighing 25kg, insured up to £500, to both France, and mainland UK with them. Costs were approx £40 & £20 respectively. www.interparcel.com Quote
neepheid Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 +1 for Interparcel -000's for Royal Mail/Parcelforce for their limited insurance and the fact that the counter staff will happily sell you insurance which won't pay out. Quote
jezzaboy Posted November 23, 2010 Author Posted November 23, 2010 Cheers fellows bass gods!! Will get on to Interparcel asap. Jez Quote
XB26354 Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 NOOO!!! Interparcel are crap to N Ireland. I sent something to TheGroovyPlucker and not only did they not guarantee any delivery date, but they took 3 working days to deliver and charged me/us more than £100 for a non-existent "premium" service... Try TNT or even Parcelfarce - at least they can do next day. Quote
