toneknob Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 Phish's version of Stevie Wonder's "Boogie On Reggae Woman" from their recent Halloween show. Quote

toneknob Posted November 23, 2010 Author Posted November 23, 2010 Mine too! I thought I was the only Phish fan in the country I tried to get tickets for the Halloween run, failed of course. Thanks for the link - I've seen it before, possibly linked from here, but good to see again. Bookmarked. Quote

Ghost_Bass Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 Didn't see the gear page yet but this sound reminds me of the Ed's EHX Bass Microsynth review... probably one being used in this?! Quote
xgsjx Posted November 24, 2010 Posted November 24, 2010 Sorry, but I think it sounds like 70s cheese. The bass sound is ok, but the song using that sound is pants. Quote

It's very wooden and white-sounding. Fine for a frat party but Stevie Wonder they ain't. Quote
xgsjx Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 (edited) Nope, I like Stevie Wonder. The bassline itself is ok (just), but the song is lame. Very lame. Having another listen (again), they'd be better covering the theme tune for Smokey & the Bandit! Edited November 25, 2010 by xgsjx Quote
