jwbassman
Hi guys Got a bit carried away on my last gig and went and snapped my A sting - doh! I'm looking for a set of DR Lo Riders - Nickel - 5s (the ones in the purple box) but I can't seem to find them anywhere. I've tried all the usual places but no joy - most other types of DR stings but not the ones I want. Most disappointingly is the one place that say they sell them - Regent Guitars - haven't got any in stock, despite being able to order them online (which I did only to get an email saying they didn't have any). I think I got the initial set from eBay as I couldn't find any the first time I was looking, but there aren't any there either So any ideas much appreciated... Cheers John
Hamster
I think it's down to here: http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/DR-...mp;src=3SOSWXXA You'll probably get them duty free too as they're not very expensive from across the pond Hamster
eude
Don't think Musician's Friend post over the pond. You can try ebay though >> http://cgi.ebay.com/DR-Strings-Nickel-Lo-R...7QQcmdZViewItem I've bought from the US via ebay a few times and it's been no bother at all. Works out a hell of a lot cheaper than buying here in blighty! Cheers, Eude
6stringbassist
I get mine from here, they're quite a bit cheaper than the UK places, stringbuster and strings direct. http://saitenkatalog.de/shop1/index.php/ma...mp;filter_id=68 32 Euros plus postage, they arrive within about 3 days usually. jwbassman
Just a quick post to say thanks again for the recommendations - my new strings arrived from Germany yesterday, in good time and cheaper than I could have got them (if I could find any) in the UK - splendid
