Its pretty much all original. 2 screws on s/plate were changed and only real damage was done on the bottom edge of the body where someone (not me) must have left it down on the edge all the time. Does seem a relatively easy repair though. See pic. Rosewood fret board, had new frets in way back and there's still meat on them. Dunno what else I can tell ye. B. In terms of your pricing question, that knock is a fair sized one but not the end of the world. Assuming the rest is as you say, I'd wager you could go for £1250 - £1400. The higher end of that if that's the original case. You mentioned the possible U2 link in the other thread. As this can't be validated it *may* make a difference but because it can't be evidenced for certain I'd suggest it probably won't affect the price. I know a few people who've owned ex-big name players kit and without certificates of authencity it sadly becomes little more than just a cool story. My Ampeg SVT USA 15E is rumoured to be ex-Wurzels and I challenge anyone to come up with a cooler naff link! Yeah the U2 thing is no addition at all unless I could get him to sign off on it. His house (one of them anyway) is not too far from me but I doubt I'd get past the dogs ! Tis not an outrageous story tho cos in those days they were knocking about town like anybody else. First time I saw them was in a market on a sat pm. 50p entrance!!!
