Jesso
Hey folks. I'm looking to get a new scratchplate made from a template for my 91 P (57 style). It's got to be gold, and I think it needs to be metal, because an acrylic one would not be in keeping. Any ideas about where to go for this? Many thanks! Noisyjon
I've seen plated brass ones on Allparts website but maybe worth a phone call to Martin Sims? Jesso
Got a quote.... £96 for an aluminium gold adonized jobby, or £56 for the mirrored acrylic finish. Question: Do the re-issues come with an aluminium scratchplate does anybody know? Would the acrylic one be the wrong thing for a 91 jap? Thanks! gary mac
Can you not use a standard off the shelf one? I think the gold anodised fender ones are about £30.00. One of the stickies on the forum has details of suppliers who do custom pickguards.

Noisyjon
Nice one and probably saved a few quid in the process?! Edited November 25, 2010 by jonthebass
