paddy mcbride Posted November 24, 2010 Posted November 24, 2010 Hi there My warwick rockbag has come to the end of its life. The padding is falling out and there are rips all over it. It definitely wasn't designed well enough to carry two warwicks. So now I need a new gig bag urgently. I have been looking at Fusion and Mono. I am also trying to decided whether it is worth getting a double bag again (for convenience as I always take two basses) or get two single bags. What are peoples experiences of these two brands? are they worth the asking price....bearing in mind it is £200ish for a Double Mono bag and a single is £130. Any help would be appreciated, thank you Paddy Quote
lozbass Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 Mono are very light and nicely made - not as protective as a Protec contego (IMO) but very high quality with reasonble protection and many well thought out features. Another alternative is igig - tons of feature, between a mono and a Protec in terms of protection (again, IMO) but a bit heavy. Quote
