kirk
I'm Chris and I live in Leeds. Currently deciding whether to upgrade my bog standard Squier P bass (thinking Kent Armstrong hot vintage pup and new wiring kit) or buy something a bit better (prolly MIJ Squier, VM Squier). Seeing as I own a Sunn 300T I should probably buy something a whole lot better but American Fenders cost £££! I play bass in a fast hardcore band called Bonestorm and an indie band called Honour Before Glory.

Zoe_BillySheehan
Hey Chris! Welcome to basschat! Why don't you try having a look at some second hand Fenders? I've got a MIJ Fender and i'm pretty much in love with it haha When it comes to buying a new bass, there are a lot of helpful people on here if you need any kind of advice! kirk
Thanks for all the welcomeses. Zoe, yeah I am on the look out for a better bass but I guess it'll take time to find the right one at the right price. So in the meantime I'm probably going to change the pup in my Squier and start saving! For the record, one of my friends has a gorgeous sounding/looking MIJ Fender Jazz (natural finish, rosewood fingerboard wi block inlays) that he got for £200! He plays it very well though so I don't begrudge him it ha ha!
