Do you have ANY idea how hard it is to find a single piece of wood that shape, and with all those different grains and characteristics?

I used to have one of those cheap Rickenbackers, you know, the ones made from at least a dozen different pieces of wood all glued together and stuff.

Obviously hewn from a single piece of Rosewood... I've emailed him to confirm that this is the case but have not heard back yet :-) I did say I was very interested and wanted the model number and serial number as well :-)

I thought ric boards were bubinga, if he'd hewn it from a single piece of bubinga it would have left him with some very blunt router bits and back problems.
Is 5K a bit on the steep side? Something fishy here...

Some clown bid £6500 on it, but saw the error of their ways and retracted. A fine record of 5 bid retractions in 6 months, Must have some peculiar muscle problems in the index finger.
