Hi Guys,
After read a lot of good reviews on here about Wizzard pups I decided to buy some today for my old Ibanez. There in the post to me now, but when I fit them (p/J configuration...Big ones) I want to change to two volume pots and the tone pot on the bass as they all crackle like hell. I have NO IDEA what to buy, so instead of taking a photo to a guitar shop I thought I'd ask for any advice? links to appropriate gear etc.
Cheers in advance guys.

+1 to that. Some state Lin for volume, and Log for tone, but both Fender and Gibson just use the same audio-taper pot on both, on most of their instruments.

Another vote for CTS pots.

These are the pots i got recently
CTS solid shaft
and
CTS Split shaft

Both the same pot but different shafts. Basically if you want to keep using your original knobs (yeah yeah ;-) you need to get the correct Shaft.
Normally split shaft takes the push on knobs and solid takes the knobs with the small grub screw. Just pull off your old knobs (why does this keep sounding wrong) to see what you already have.

Good choice on the Wizards.

lin for volume and log for tone provides the best curves

I was wondering this earlier too, I've got a set of lovely wizard 64s on my VMJ, and I want new pots for it too! I can recall someone saying something about using a 500k for tone and 250k for the vol pots, is this a terribly bad idea? What would it do to my sound if I did this compared to if I had all 3 250k pots?
