Tinman Posted January 12, 2008 Posted January 12, 2008 (edited) Since the arrival of a second Hartke 410XL this has become surplus to requirements so I've decided to sell it on. It's the bottom cab in the picture(obviously!) and is in excellent condition. It's been gigged a few times but has always been looked after. It also comes with it's own Trace Elliot embroidered cover. I'm looking for £250 ono http://www.trace-elliot.co.uk/pop_product....s=9&key=477 for the technical stuff 8 ohm, 500 Watts If more pics are required just pm me and I'll take some. Cheers Pete *Edit* Willing now to trade this for something of comparable value. I'm looking primarily for an amp (head) or maybe an effects unit but I'm open to ideas. Let's see whatcha got. Tinman Posted January 14, 2008 Author Posted January 14, 2008 Big, fat, monday morning humpty-bump. Ta
Tinman Posted May 30, 2008 Author Posted May 30, 2008 Still looking to sell this great speaker cab. Arrangements could be made to courier this but I'd rather meet somewhere to do the deal. It's a lovely sounding cab, just not for me. Let me know Pete
Tinman Posted January 7, 2009 Author Posted January 7, 2009 This is still up for grabs people. Now with a price drop. IMO a bargain price for a really good cab. Ta Pete
Merton Posted January 7, 2009 Posted January 7, 2009 Bearing in mind there's an older style 300W version of this cab on fleabay for £250, this is a bloody bargain!
Merton Posted January 7, 2009 Posted January 7, 2009 (edited) According to Trace Elliot it's 26.7kg I think. Call it 27kg and you're safe! Lighter than the older ones anyway EDIT: 26.1kg Edited January 7, 2009 by Merton
Matte_black Posted January 7, 2009 Posted January 7, 2009 Well... definitely not heaviest. I'm asking how it would work as a standalone.
Tinman Posted January 9, 2009 Author Posted January 9, 2009 Sorry about the delayed reply. Sri Lankan internet is random at best To answer your question Matte Black: I've never used the cab as a standalone, so I couldn't really tell you. However, I've no doubt that it would certainly handle it.
Matte_black Posted January 10, 2009 Posted January 10, 2009 I had a chance to try both the 300w and 500w versions... they both sound good but I wouldn't use as standalone cabs for fretted bass playing as the lack of the tweeter is clear when you play thru them. They have a nice, silky tone and are very well built! Definitely worth every penny.

Matte_black Posted January 10, 2009 Posted January 10, 2009 Just being objective Anyway down here the price is higher than £500 for these cabs... so £250 for an example in that condition is a bargain.
