KevB
I thought I'd make a start and if it catches on an admin could make it a sticky of it over the holiday period. You know what it's like, you need to learn a few xmas tunes to throw in at the end of a gig and don't want to go trawling through web sites yourself so how about we make a list of links or post scans of sheet music of our xmas faves so we have a quick resource here on basschat? Probably my all time fave is the Slade classic so here is what looks like a pretty accurate bass tab for that one: Merry Christmas Everybody (Slade) http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/tabs/s/slad...y_ver2_btab.htm
Neko
I KNEW there was a reason I came back XD Trying to work out 'all I want for Christmas' and 'Santa Baby' at the moment. Also, 'not tonight santa', because innuendo-filled songs are endless fun I could google it, but where's the fun in that? If I get it done and it sounds decent I'll post the tab. This may not happen until 2019.
Lozz196
It doesn`t need tab, as it`s p*ss easy to work out, but this has to be the best Xmas song ever. The Sex Pistols & Thin Lizzy collaborate for the festive season! Unfortunately IMO it's why tab can't be trusted. It's one of my favourite Xmas tunes though
AndyTravis
has anyone got a version of 'Christmas Wrapping'? Edit - Too lazy to go looking, or to figure it out. Edited December 2, 2010 by AndyTravis

I think that has just been transposed to a different key from the original but the basic pattern is OK, this is the one I was going to post; http://www.bassmasta.net/s/slade/103435.html
lojo
2 or 3 posts about tabs, and no sign of the tab police, must be the cutbacks
Gareth Hughes
Nah, it's the festive spirit of goodwill towards all men. And tab-readers.

If you can get the drummer to do that military type beat it's great to get a bouncy bassline playing off it. Someone in the band said he'd never taken much notice of the bassline until I played it, that might not necessarily have been a compliment though
