dodgnofski
Hi Guys, Anyone know what a 1970, almost mint Sunburst/tort/rosewood Fender Precision is worth, complete with the original case?? Cheers, Tim
99ster
£2000 to £2500
Yep - for a really nice example with OHSC - that would be about right.

Cat Burrito
I assume you know a bit about what you are buying? Original parts are key and if you can get the full history it's a huge bonus. I own 70s Fenders which are all original with original strings / case / till receipt and 70s Fenders which have loads of parts replaced. All are well set up and play great but obviously a huge difference in resale value
dodgnofski
Thanks for that, I know a little bit, i.e. to check the neck stamp, pot dates & check for original soldering etc...........but please, any other tips gratefully recieved?? Thanks again, Tim
I assume you know a bit about what you are buying? Cat Burrito
It's really just a case of doing your homework so you know it's period correct. Your level of knowledge sounds about where mine is and I've never been ripped off buying a 70s Fender (yet!)
