Line 6 Ux1 into an active pa speaker

Hey all, could someone tell me if this setup would work. i am just thinking of buying an active pa speaker, something like this -[url="http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270671942063&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT"]active pa speaker[/url]- and plugging my line6 ux1 straight into it. it would only be for home use. would this work?

Not sure about that. I've got mine plugged into a pair of M-Audio BX5a 's .
With a pair of xlr cables.Or TRS cables. Does the job for me. Let's see what others say....

Yeah, it would work - though my only reason for not worrying about a PA cab is that you are kinda limiting the UX1's useage. It's absolutely brilliant for recording ideas and using as a sound card on your computer to listen to music (or so that you can play along to songs) - so my suggestion would be to get a cheap set of active monitors instead, such as the Behringer ones available for a better quality home rig. I think that the UX1 would sound better that way.
