Rare glimpse of Jamerson

There seems to be only a handful of photos of our hero let alone movie film of someone who was never let out of the studio.

But, I found this. Its a great film of the Supremes, wonderful in fact in that they are singing to a live band and the band appear to be the Brothers themselves. You can clearly see Jamerson (although his head i cut off for some of it) standing up high.

Thought I'd share, sorry if you've seen it before.

Actually, there is this beautiful clip of Marvin Gaye in concert with Jamerson on bass.
(This was in a previous thread that was also asking about the bass amp).

I love the Supremes. Very much of it's era that clip with the band all bunched up together to fill the shot. Mary Wilson is playing locally to me in a couple of months and I am sorely tempted.

I saw a Motown evening at Wembley Arena 2 years ago and while the Temptations and 4 Tops were good (even if they each only have 1 original member left), it was Mary Wilson who stole the show singing lead on all the Supremes songs. She was very good. It's a shame she didn't get a better break back in the 60's.
