The session starts at around 24 mins.

Fast forward to 38mins for the fuzz shredding!!!!

And if you've not yet discovered Hatfield and the North - now you have! Circa 18974, they're a peculiar blend of pop, jazz, prog and general English quirkiness.

Their music was way ahead of their time.

There's a definite Frank Zappa's influence in this music, I dig it, wonder why I had never heard of them, being a very avid Zappa fan.

Thanks for the link, I shall now investigate their music to find out more.

As a Zappa fan, you should be aware of The Wizards of Twiddly. Are you?

Definitely! You can be sure, in his use of fuzz, Sinclair was heavily influenced by the late fuzz-bass hero Hugh Hopper.

Have you heard Hughscore? Their "Delta Flora" is a classic.

Well, they were all part of the same family tree! No? So that is a family resemblance!

Hillage had been in Uriel with Hatfield's keyboard player Dave Stewart (who subsequently played on Hillage's Fish Rising), and Pip Pyle was Gong's drummer on Camembert Electrique.
