Aguilar agro bass pedal

Has anyone here used the Aguilar bass agro pedal how is it? Is it worth the price tag? Has anyone used it with super low tuning like F#?

Ive been using one for a couple of months now. In terms of the sounds you can get, I think its a great pedal. Its at its best as a full-on aggressive distortion, but does a good job of a light gritty overdrive too. The only problem is that if you want to keep the low end, you need a blend pedal for it. I find turning the contour up gives the best distortion sound but loses all the power. Turning the contour down warms things up but gets lost in the mix a bit.

At the moment im not entirely sure its worth the hefty price, but it does give you a good variety of sounds.

Oh, and I use a 5 string and love the sound on the low B, so I reckon it'll sound great with low tuning. Never tried dropping to F# though!
